The Nursery is Complete- Finally!!

It’s done!  I’m not exactly sure how we procrastinated so long, that’s not really like Chad and I.  But somehow, the nursery has taken us months to finish!

We could not have done it without Nanny, Grumpy, and Lou!
After a few months of using my amazing selling skills, I was able to convince Chad that the light yellow walls that we had in the room (which when the room was painted about 5 years ago and were supposed to be perfect for a nursery some day) needed to be painted blue.   Next time I want to paint, somebody please remind me to hire a professional to paint.  Painting is so not my thing.
Chad made shelves to go into Grayson’s closet so that we would have more room for storage.  He thought that we would need them, and he is so right!  The shelves are already stuffed with shoes, blankets, sheets, and all of the essentials that we need.  I must say, I am so impressed with how handy Chad has become over the years! Thank you honey J
After rearranging the furniture in the room at least a dozen times we have settled with what you will see in the pictures, for now.  I had no idea that when we purchased the glider- which has the name “Chair and a Half” that it was going to be so big- and so big in the room.  I do love the Chair and a Half because both Chad and I can sit comfortably next to each other on the chair and of course Zoe has room too.   Birdie has found her spot in the room too, she likes to sleep under the crib and look out the windows.
We are 37 weeks along today, hopefully only three more weeks until we meet Grayson Douglas!
